Thursday, Nov. 2nd is Jill Palmer’s final day at Hudson Valley Community College following 34 years of service.
Jill is a graduate and long-time faculty member of the Architectural, Civil Engineering and Construction Technology Program. She has been the backbone of this department since she started! As a faculty member, Jill helped develop many courses within the department, she made the department schedules for 30 years and she helped to develop an architecture program that received national recognition prior to its reorganization. Jill has a gift for teaching that will be sorely missed. Her retirement is truly a loss to the college community!
Jill will be leaving next week to enjoy her retirement in the beautiful state of Hawaii! Join me in congratulating Jill and wishing her the best of luck in her new adventure!
